Purpose:

The Commercial Partnerships Design Team plays a crucial role in supporting Partnerships’ primary objective of securing new, and renewing existing, commercial partners to support the continued growth of Manchester City FC and all City Football Group (CFG) properties.

 

We are looking for a Junior Video Editor & Motion Graphic Designer to work collaboratively within the Commercial Partnerships Design Team to create content to bring all key areas of the sales proposition to life.

 

As the sole Junior Video Editor & Motion Graphic Designer you will have proven experience in editing & motion graphics, using programs such as After Effects & Premier Pro, alongside Photoshop & Illustrator

 

This role is for a highly creative individual, willing to share ideas with the existing team of Graphic Designers and build a creative network of staff in similar roles from Clubs around the world within the organisation

 

 

Accountabilities with Key Outcomes: 

1

Produce captivating content to support the Partnership Sales Team
Bringing all key areas of sales proposition to life in general sales materials & keep updated with latest footage, Club activity and partner initiatives

  • Generate best-in-class content that demonstrates the values of the Group and Clubs, suitable to be delivered to global Senior & C-Suite stakeholders
  • Create bespoke pitch videos tailored for specific prospects
  • Create captivating case studies, hype videos and digital invites throughout season
  • Develop motion graphics output as LottieFiles to bring to life presentation material

Planning & Delivery

  • Manage efficiently weekly workload & deadlines, allowing flexibility for any important inbound requests  
  • Manage and produce the projects from briefing to delivery, making creative recommendations to solve briefs
  • Communicate ideas well and demonstrate technical and creative ability
  • Review work with the support of the Head of Partnership Design (and other key stakeholders)

Build & Develop network across City Football Group

  • Build & develop relationships with colleagues in similar roles at other CFG properties, to ensure the best content is always available.  

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 

Essential

Proven video editing & motion graphic design experience, demonstrated with considered portfolio & showreel

 

Ability to work well both in a team, and independently

 

Previous experience working within a commercial /agency environment

 

Ability to meet quick deadlines

 

Ability to use the full Adobe CC Suite

Desirable

Education in Video Production or similar

Knowledge of football, the Premier League and Man City/CFG

Experience with motion-tracking & clone stamping footage

Previous experience keying green-screen

Experience with camera operation
