Based at the City Football Academy in Manchester, this permanent full-time role plays an important part in supporting the day-to-day transport and administrative operations across the Academy. You will help deliver a safe, reliable and well-organised transport service while contributing to a professional and welcoming environment for players, families and staff, ensuring every journey and interaction reflects the standards of Manchester City.

The Role

 

You will support the delivery of a safe, reliable and professional transport service across the Academy, ensuring players, staff and visitors are supported at every stage of their journey. Working closely with colleagues, you will help coordinate day-to-day transport schedules while maintaining accurate records and administrative processes that enable efficient operations.

 

You will play a key role in creating a positive experience for players and their families, from providing a welcoming first impression for trialists to supporting wider Academy events and activities.  You will also provide logistical and administrative support for pre-season tours, tournaments, and other Academy events . Alongside this, you will help maintain vehicles and ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are up to date, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and respond to the changing needs of the environment.

 

Through your organisation, communication and attention to detail you will develop and maintain strong working relationships with staff, players, parents, and key Academy stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing team supporting the operational delivery of our Academy. 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience working in an administrative or operational environment
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively with attention to detail
  • Clear and effective communication skills when working with a range of stakeholders
  • Confident driver with a clean driving licence
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and administrative systems
  • Proactive approach with flexibility to support varying operational needs

The recruitment process will involve attendance at an onsite assessment day involving a task element, a driving assessment, and a competency-based interview. The assessment day will be held in June at City Football Academy.
