Manchester City’s content team is growing fast, and we’re looking for an Assistant Branded Content Producer to help bring creative, high-quality commercial stories to life. You’ll sit within our Commercial Media team, working on a wide range of branded content — from social-first videos and partner activations to longer-form pieces and live productions. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves collaboration, enjoys working across different stages of production, and wants to grow their craft in a supportive, high-energy environment.

Your Impact

 

  1. Work closely with Commercial Media Producers and Managers to deliver industry-leading content for partners and brands.
  2. Support the production of content across the full workflow — including filming, editing (offline and online), and social-specific formats.
  3. Contribute creatively to ideas and treatments alongside the Creative Director and wider team.
  4. Help deliver projects in a fast-paced environment, supporting deadlines and changing priorities.
  5. Work with freelance crews where required, helping source and coordinate talent for shoots.
  6. Ensure content meets partner objectives while reflecting the tone, values and pace of football.

 

What we are looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience producing or supporting commercially focused video content, particularly vertical-first content.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and what performs well on each.
  • A clear strength in at least one area of production (e.g. shooting, editing or post-production), with curiosity to develop others.
  • Organised and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.
  • A collaborative, enthusiastic approach and confidence working as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, in line with football production schedules.
  • Beneficial; Previous experience working in football or sports media.
