Job Description

Role Title: Business Development Manager (Seasonal Hospitality Sales

Reports to:  Senior Hospitality Manager

Division: Manchester City Operations

Department: Hospitality

Role specific purpose:     

Purpose:

The key purpose of the Business Development Manager role is to support the Hospitality Sales Department in generating revenue through outbound/inbound sales to deliver our Seasonal Hospitality revenues each Season.

 

The successful candidate will be targeted on selling our high-value products so should have experience and be able to evidence they meet this criteria.

Role specific accountabilities:

1

Build and maintain a pipeline of current and new customers to achieve targets

Accurate reporting of Pipeline

3

Meet KPI’s which include face to face meetings and hosting prospects on Matchdays

4

Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and service best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture, and database management

4

Create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities

Role specific knowledge, skills and experience:

Essential:

  • 3-5 years Sales experience of selling High-value products
  • Driven and goal orientated mentality
  • Pro-active nature
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Team player
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (excel primarily)
  • Strategic Thinker

Desirable:

  • Multi-lingual skills (Spanish, French & German)
