We are looking for an International Content Manager to help grow and commercialise our global fan base through engaging, localised digital content. In this role, you’ll work closely with our International Content Leads to ensure the right content reaches the right platforms across diverse markets. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a versatile skill set—comfortable with vertical video editing, stakeholder engagement, and project management—who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Your Impact

 

  1. Implement overarching regional content strategy to hit media and fan growth KPIs.
  2. Work closely with relevant departments, such as marketing, Personalised Marketing, and retail in order to drive broader business goals and KPIs.
  3. Execute detailed and effective regional content plans, project management, maximize coordination with global teams while adapting to local trends
  4. Proactively identify opportunities and develop relationships with appropriate partners / entities including broadcasters to distribute our content as far and wide as possible, and to commercialise where possible.
  5. Deliver content shoots on both men’s and women’s player appearance days to hit regional tentpole moments such as Diwali, Carnaval, Lunar New Year and more.
  6. Track and use content analytics to report on and drive performance.
  7. Manage agencies or contractors to ensure high quality, locally engaging and on-brand content.

 

What we are looking for

  • Prior experience of running media / marketing campaigns ideally within international markets.
  • Detailed knowledge of regional digital and media landscape.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms, apps and other content distribution platforms.
  • Up-to-date media knowledge and passionate about digital innovations. 
  • Excellent project management skills (from planning to delivery).
  • Strong cultural understanding. Should be able to understand latest trends that exist with key demographical areas in region (sports fans, Gen Z, social media influencers etc.)
  • Good knowledge of football and sports industry – specifically latest media / marketing trends being adopted by clubs and leagues in region, but also globally.
  • Excellent social, graphic and video production skill set. 
  • Strong editorial abilities and able to provide multiple bespoke versions of same content for various platforms.
  • Highly analytical; able to assimilate information quickly and present it clearly and concisely.
  • Strong presentation skills: preparation to delivery.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills to communicate effectively at various levels including: senior stakeholders, external prospects, content producers.
  • Strong sense of initiative and proactivity regarding opportunity identification.
