The People Services Team at City Football Group (CFG) is the first point of contact for people-related matters and provides a friendly and efficient experience for those that reach out. This role will drive the People Services team to be even more committed to great customer service by ensuring that we have clear, robust, and compliant processes and systems.  

 

Your Impact

The People Process and Systems Delivery Manager will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of People processes, ensuring they are optimised for efficiency and user experience. This role will act as the primary liaison between the People Services team and the Technology team, translating People processes into systems and data business requirements.

 

Alongside the optimisation of processes and systems, the role will measure the operational effectiveness of the People Operations team to be successful, identifying areas for improvement and developing the technical knowledge of our People Services Coordinators.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  1. Design and Optimise People Processes: Responsible for the design and continuous refinement of People processes to maximise efficiency and enhance the user experience, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the wider People team.
  2. Translate Processes into System Requirements: Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate People processes into clear and actionable systems and data business requirements, ensuring that these are effectively communicated to and understood by the Technology team and People Data & Insights team.
  3. Operational Point of Contact for Technology: Act as the primary contact for the Technology team, serving as the subject matter expert for all relevant People systems and software. Ensure seamless collaboration and communication between the teams to enable efficient development of operational systems improvements.
  4. Process and Systems Testing: Lead the drafting, coordination, and execution of comprehensive process and systems testing plans. Work with the Technology team to ensure the safe and efficient deployment of all system upgrades and implementations.

 

  1. Continuous Improvement: Act as a champion for continuous improvement within the People Services team. Identify and address inefficiencies, gaps in controls, and areas for process enhancement.
  2. Project Management: Manage and oversee operational process and systems projects within the People Services roadmap, ensuring timely delivery to the highest standards of quality.
  3. Measurement of Operational Performance: Review the output and delivery of the People Operations team, identifying areas of inefficiency and development. Audit documentation and processes to maintain the highest levels of compliance.
  4. Mentorship and Training: Lead first-line advice on complex queries which have been escalated from the People Services Coordinators. Deliver materials and provide guidance to the Coordinators so that that are as effective and optimised as possible in their approach.
