Based in Manchester, this permanent full-time role leads the creation and delivery of engaging social and digital content across Medlock Square. You will play an important role in bringing the destination to life through creative storytelling and audience-focused content that supports awareness, footfall and engagement across Visitor Attractions, Restaurants, MICE and destination-wide campaigns.

Within our Medlock Square Marketing and Activations team, we create campaigns and experiences that connect audiences with everything the destination has to offer. Social and digital content plays a key role in shaping audience engagement, helping to build awareness and create compelling experiences across multiple platforms and visitor touchpoints.

 

The Role

 

You will lead the creation and delivery of social-first content across Medlock Square channels, producing engaging photography, video, graphics and written content that supports destination campaigns, activations and audience engagement activity. Working closely with Marketing, Activations and Commercial teams, you will help bring the destination experience to life across digital platforms.

 

Alongside content creation, you will support the day-to-day management of social channels, content calendars and publishing activity, ensuring content is delivered in line with campaign priorities and brand standards. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of influencer and creator activity that supports audience growth and engagement.

 

You will also monitor performance, audience behaviour and emerging trends to help shape future content and improve effectiveness across channels. Through your creativity, organisation and collaborative approach, you will contribute to building a consistent and engaging digital presence for Medlock Square.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

⚽ Experience creating social media content within hospitality, destination, entertainment or consumer-facing environments
⚽ Understanding of social media platforms and audience engagement approaches
⚽ Experience producing video, photography and digital content for social channels
⚽ Clear and effective written communication and copywriting skills
⚽ Ability to organise and manage content activity across multiple priorities
⚽ Collaborative approach within marketing and operational teams
