Supporter Liaison Officer

Based in Manchester, this permanent full-time role supports supporter engagement and operational liaison activity across football fixtures and major events. You will play an important role in maintaining positive relationships between the Club and supporters, helping to ensure fan feedback, communication and engagement activity are coordinated effectively across a range of supporter touchpoints.

Within our Service Support team, we work closely with supporters, operational teams and governing bodies to help deliver positive and inclusive fan experiences across matchdays and events. Our Fan Engagement function plays a key role in supporting communication, consultation and supporter relationships across Men’s and Women’s football.

 

The Role

 

You will support supporter engagement and liaison activity across football operations, helping to maintain positive relationships with supporter groups, fan representatives and wider supporter communities. Working closely with Fan Engagement, Ticketing Operations, Safety and Security and Matchday teams, you will support engagement activity, supporter communication and operational coordination across home and away fixtures.

 

Alongside day-to-day supporter engagement, you will support the delivery of operational supporter liaison activity during matchdays and events, including domestic and international away fixtures. You will help coordinate supporter-related operational issues, gather feedback and support aligned communication across operational stakeholders.

 

You will also contribute to fan insight and continuous improvement activity, helping to identify opportunities to improve supporter experience, communication and operational delivery. Through your communication, organisation and collaborative approach, you will support positive supporter relationships across the Club.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

⚽ Experience within supporter engagement, stakeholder coordination or operational support environments
⚽ Clear and effective communication and relationship management skills
⚽ Ability to manage supporter interactions professionally and sensitively
⚽ Understanding of supporters and fan engagement environments
⚽ Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-moving operational settings
⚽ Collaborative approach across operational and service teams
⚽ Flexible approach to work days - this role will require regular travel to both Manchester City men's and women's away fixtures both domestiaclly and internationally
⚽ A driver's licence would be desirable, but not essential
