We’re looking for a dynamic U.S. Content Creator to join City Studios NYC in Manchester, helping us connect with Manchester City’s growing U.S. audience through creative, engaging, and trend-led content. In this hybrid role, you’ll combine production, on-camera presenting, and real-time publishing across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You’ll need to be as confident in front of the camera as you are behind it, with strong filming and editing skills, a deep understanding of U.S. sports culture, and the personality to be a relatable voice for our American fans.

Your Impact

 

Social Content Production and Publishing

  • Produce, shoot, edit, and publish social-first video content across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Develop concepts and formats that bring City’s story to life for U.S. fans, blending football narratives with wider cultural moments.
  • Ensure all content is platform-optimized and tailored to tone, trends, and timing specific to each channel.

 

On-Camera & Creator Presence

  • Act as a presenter for video content, whether interviewing players, hosting explainers, or driving reactive cultural pieces.
  • Bring energy and authenticity to the role.
  • Confidently collaborate with fans, creators, and talent on-camera and behind the scenes.

 

Audience Growth & Engagement

  • Drive growth and deepen engagement among U.S. audiences through culturally attuned, scroll-stopping content.
  • Engage with fans in-platform when needed, responding in real-time to trends, memes, and key cultural moments.
  • Use insights and data to refine content performance and pitch new ideas.

 

Collaboration & Campaigns

  • Work closely with editorial teams in both Manchester and New York to deliver against shared goals and campaigns.
  • Help execute tentpole campaigns and social-first initiatives from ideation through to delivery.
  • Adapt and reformat content from across the club to feel native for U.S. fans.

 

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience producing and publishing social-first video content.
  • Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar).
  • Comfortable and charismatic on-camera, with the ability to speak naturally to a fan audience. Also, experience interviewing talent or creators on-camera.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms and what drives performance — particularly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Good instincts for U.S. sports and entertainment culture, and how to translate it for a football audience.
  • Experience collaborating with high profile athletes, creators, influencers.
  • Highly organized, fast-moving, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
  • Passion for football – with a willingness to immerse yourself in Manchester City FC.
  • Bilingual (e.g. Spanish) or experience engaging diverse fanbases would be ideal.
  • Familiarity with publishing tools and content scheduling platforms.
