Venue Sales Planning Executive

Based in Manchester, we have two permanent full-time roles supporting the coordination and operational planning of conferences, meetings and events across the Etihad Campus and Medlock Square. You will play an important part in ensuring venue bookings, schedules and operational requirements are accurately managed, helping to deliver well-organised and seamless event experiences across a busy and fast-moving environment.

Within our Conference and Events team, we deliver a wide range of meetings, hospitality experiences and large-scale events across world-class venues. Planning and coordination are central to this, ensuring every booking and event is delivered smoothly and to the highest possible standard.

 

The Role

The Venue Sales Planning Executive is responsible for supporting the coordination and administration of venue sales planning activity across Conferences & Events spaces within the Etihad Campus and Medlock Square.

 

The role exists to support the effective operational coordination of venue bookings, schedules and event planning requirements, while actively contributing to the enhancement of events and the maximisation of revenue opportunities. This is achieved through maintaining accurate records, coordinating booking information and supporting clear communication across Venue Sales and Operational teams. Working within established planning processes and operational frameworks, the role helps ensure event information is accurately managed, commercially optimised, and operationally aligned to deliver high-quality, commercially successful events.

 

Working closely with Venue Sales, Operations, Campus Scheduling and Service teams, the role supports effective planning activity across conferences, meetings, and events activity.

 

What You’ll Bring

⚽ Experience within administration, scheduling, event support or operational coordination environments
⚽ Enhance event quality and maximise revenue through effective booking coordination and commercial awareness.
⚽ Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities accurately
⚽ Clear and effective communication skills when working across teams and stakeholders
⚽ Comfortable using booking systems, scheduling tools or operational platforms
⚽ Attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
⚽ Collaborative approach within operational and customer-facing environments
