To be successful as the Northern UK Youth Scouting Manager at City Football Group, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a team of Talent ID Scouts situated within the North of England.

Your Impact

  1. Deliver optimal scouting coverage, network building and intelligence gathering to identify U13-U16 talent across Greater Manchester, Midlands & North-East.
  2. Attend games/covers video, compiles and tracks scouting reports to ensure relevant information is up to date to present/share updates on a weekly basis.
  3. Management and support regional Northern Talent ID Scouts.
  4. Create long-list of relevant players for expert scouting assessment.
  5. Ensures effective transition of local recruitment work to information U13 scouting.

 

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in talent identification/scouting.
  • Continuous appetite for learning and open minded.
  • Versatile and adaptable, with a flexibility to work across various working patterns.
  • Utilisation of data and insights.
  • Experience working within other sections of football (coaching, analysis, senior).
  • Highly organised with strong coordination skills.
  • Immediate market intelligence & player insight.
